2011 Women on Target

The Kansas State Rifle Association sponsored two Women on Target (WOT) events this year at the Friends of Fancy Creek Range, located in Randolph Kansas.  The event in May had 40 participants while the event in September had 54 participants.  During these events the women learned about pistols, rifles, shotguns, muzzleloaders, and archery.  All of the women left with greatly increased knowledge of firearms, confidence about handling firearms safely, and a lot of targets that they used for bragging about how well they shot.  The KSRA looks forward to sponsoring two more WOT events in 2012.  If you would like reserve your spot at a WOT event in May or September of 2012 please contact Lisa Moore at 785-485-5527 or e-mail sweetpicle06@eaglecom.net.

2011 Youth Shoot

The Kansas State Rifle Association sponsored the 3rd Annual NRA Kids Day at the Range hosted by the Friends of Fancy Creek Range in Randolph Kansas.  During the event the twenty two kids in attendance learned about shot guns, .22 rifles, muzzleloaders, BB guns, and trapping at different stations.  All of the kids left with their targets and an increased knowledge of the use and safety of handguns.  The KSRA looks forward to sponsoring further youth events for the State.  If you’d like to find out about next year’s event please contact Lisa Moore at 785-485-5527 or e-mail sweetpickle06@eaglecom.net.
